The Investment Department segment engages in investment activities. It is also involved in the wholesale, retail, and leasing of computer software and related equipment; transmission and security of value-added network; maintenance of database; consultation and repair services; general investment, computer room installation, and communication engineering services; and manufacture and sale of wire communication equipment and apparatus, and electronic parts and components. The company was incorporated in 1997 and is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan.
