Established in 1982, and known as City Bank of Kaohsiung Co., Ltd. until its name change in January 1994, the bank offers diverse options for both individual and business clients. Its services include various deposit accounts in both New Taiwan Dollars and foreign currencies. For personal customers, the bank extends a range of lending solutions such as consumer, mortgage, reverse mortgage, and student loans, along with personal overdraft facilities. Businesses can access a wide spectrum of financing options, including secured and unsecured overdrafts, short-term loans, bank discounts, discount notes, general export and procurement loans, commercial loans, guarantees, acceptances, and specialized SME and emergency financing. The company also facilitates comprehensive foreign exchange services, covering import/export transactions, remittances, deposits, outright forwards, swaps, margin trading, and structured products. Further offerings encompass offshore banking, investment management (featuring offshore bonds, funds, and both life and non-life insurance), credit cards, electronic banking, and trust services. Bank of Kaohsiung maintains a significant presence with 36 branch offices, one mini branch, and two offshore banking units.
