Profile

Polenergia S.A. is a prominent Polish energy company actively involved in the generation, distribution, and trading of electricity within Poland. Its diverse operations are structured across several key business segments: The Onshore Wind Farms segment is dedicated to the planning, construction, and ongoing management of land-based wind energy facilities. Photovoltaics focuses on the development, building, and maintenance of solar power generation sites. The Offshore Wind Farms division specializes in establishing and maintaining wind energy infrastructure located at sea. Gas and Clean Fuels encompasses the creation and operation of gas cogeneration plants, alongside pioneering efforts in producing hydrogen and generating energy from hydrogen derived from renewable sources. The Trading and Sales segment handles the buying and selling of electrical power, origin certificates, and other financial instruments within the energy market. It also supplies electricity directly to industrial consumers and facilitates market access for producers utilizing renewable energy sources. The Distribution segment delivers electricity and gas to a broad customer base, including commercial enterprises, industrial users, and households, while also providing solutions for e-mobility. Originally known as Polish Energy Partners Spolka Akcyjna, Polenergia S.A. was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Warsaw, Poland.
