It also supports international transactions through remittance and foreign exchange services, alongside comprehensive wealth management. Investment opportunities are facilitated via mutual funds, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), offshore equities, and straight bonds. The bank's product range further includes a variety of insurance policies, from compulsory and accident coverage to medical, savings, annuity, and investment-focused plans. Consumer financing options extend to credit cards, alongside services for credit card debt management, including balance transfers, personal loans, and cash advances. FEIB offers unsecured loans specifically designed for government employees, teachers, and individuals employed by companies or organizations for over six months. Additionally, it provides mortgage loans for new home interior design and existing property remodeling, as well as credit lines to support wealth management strategies. Turning to corporate and Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) clients, FEIB presents integrated financial solutions encompassing financing, cash management, and hedging strategies. It supports businesses with services such as accounts receivable management, electronic payment processing, and financial risk mitigation. Specifically for SMEs, the bank offers credit guarantee trust funds, secure foreign capital custodianship, and investment services. Its comprehensive suite of corporate banking products also features short, medium, and long-term credit facilities, trade finance, corporate cash management, foreign exchange services, and corporate trust administration. Additionally, FEIB provides financial advisory, acquisition, project, and structured financing. The bank is also active in financial market services and offers convenient phone banking. Its capabilities extend to issuing letters of credit, facilitating domestic and international remittances, accepting commercial drafts, investing in securities, and serving as an agent for trading government and corporate bonds, as well as bank debentures. As of the close of 2021 (December 31st), FEIB's physical presence included 55 domestic branches within Taiwan, an international branch in Hong Kong, and two representative offices in Vietnam and Singapore. The bank was founded in 1992 and operates from its main office in Taipei, Taiwan.
