Accton's product lineup also encompasses wired and wireless local area network (LAN) devices, such as network switches and wireless base stations, alongside customer premises equipment (CPE). The company is a key provider of optoelectronic communication subsystems, which integrate optical networks, optoelectronic communication modules, and fiber optic repeaters. Its expertise extends to wireless local area networks (WLAN) and wireless user's loop systems. In the realm of the Internet of Things (IoT), Accton offers complete systems, including IoT gateways/controllers, a variety of sensors, applications, and hybrid-cloud servers, complemented by smart network interface cards. Further expanding its portfolio, Accton provides millimeter-wave access points (APs), bridges, and CPE, as well as cutting-edge 5th generation cellular and enterprise small cell base stations. Enterprise-grade Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) offerings and virtual/universal CPE are also part of their core business. Beyond hardware and systems, Accton offers technical consulting and engineering design services, alongside information software, technology services, e-commerce applications, and advertising services. The company's extensive range also features switching hubs, high-end network switches, and specialized data center switches. Accton delivers tailored solutions such as carrier access, software-defined wide-area networking, IoT integration, campus networking, and cloud data center solutions. Established in 1988, Accton Technology Corporation maintains its headquarters in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.
