The Enclosure Systems division is responsible for designing and manufacturing protective enclosures. These are crafted from diverse materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, and glass-fiber reinforced polyester. Its comprehensive system solutions are deployed across mechanical and plant engineering, electrical systems, measurement and control technologies, and medical applications. Furthermore, this segment delivers human-machine interface (HMI) solutions, including membrane keypads, touch systems, industrial PCs, monitors, and short-stroke keys, alongside machine control boards and robust suspension systems engineered to safeguard electronics in various industrial environments. The DewertOkin Technology Group focuses on providing linear drives and advanced drive systems, incorporating specialized fittings technology. These products are crucial for industrial applications and for powering electrically adjustable furniture in both residential and healthcare sectors. The group also offers software solutions specifically for medical applications, a range of mechanical components, and develops bespoke, integrated system solutions. Finally, the Industrial Components division offers a wide array of products. For industrial electronics, it supplies essential items like terminal blocks, connector systems, test probes, series terminals, and switches. Other key offerings span industrial PC systems, power supplies, backplanes, measuring instruments, various transformers (including instrument transformers), and circuit board equipment. This division also undertakes the development of customized electronic applications and provides conveyor components, electric cylinders, and inductive parts. Established in 1975 as Phoenix Maschinentechnik AG, the company adopted its current name, Phoenix Mecano AG, in 1986. Its corporate headquarters are located in Stein am Rhein, Switzerland.
