Bucher Industries AG is a holding company, which engages in the provision of manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery and municipal vehicles. It operates through the following business segments: Kuhn Group, Bucher Municipal, Bucher Hydraulics, Bucher Emhart Glass, and Bucher Specials. The Kuhn Group segment consists of agricultural machinery for tillage, seeding, fertilization, spraying, landscape maintenance, hay and forage harvesting, and livestock bedding and feeding. The Bucher Municipal segment supplies municipal vehicles for cleaning and clearing snow, compact and truck-mounted sweepers, winter maintenance equipment, and refuse collection vehicles. The Bucher Hydraulics segment offers pumps, motors, valves, power units, cylinders, elevator drives, and control systems. The Bucher Emhart Glass segment includes glass forming and inspection machinery, systems, components, spare parts, advice, and services for the glass container industry. The Bucher Specials segment involves machinery and equipment for winemaking, processing fruit juice and instant products, and dewatering sewage sludge. The company was founded in 1807 and is headquartered in Niederweningen, Switzerland.
