The Glass segment focuses on the production and distribution of various float and engineered glass products, including the vital raw material, silica, used in their manufacture. Its extensive product range features architectural, solar, and ultra-clear float glasses, which are integral to a wide array of applications. These include sophisticated building curtain walls, interior decoration and furnishings, reflective mirrors, automotive windshields, transparent panels for scanners and photocopiers, home appliance displays, protective screens for electronic devices, and components for the solar energy industry. Within the Solar Energy segment, CSG Holding manufactures and sells essential components for photovoltaic systems. This includes polycrystalline silicon materials, silicon wafers, and complete silicon solar cells and modules.
