Enel Chile S.A. functions as a prominent electric utility company within Chile, primarily engaged in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity. The firm structures its operations into two main divisions: Generation Business and Distribution Business. It produces power from a varied portfolio of sources, including hydroelectric, thermal, wind, solar, and geothermal facilities. Established in 2016, the company was originally named Enersis Chile S.A. before adopting its current name, Enel Chile S.A., in October of the same year. Enel Chile S.A. is headquartered in Santiago, Chile, and operates as a subsidiary of Enel S.p.A.
