The company's primary services include comprehensive vehicle inspections for various types of vehicles, such as petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric cars, motorcycles, power-assisted bicycles, and e-scooters. VICOM also offers vehicle assessment services and operates advanced emission testing laboratories. Beyond mandatory inspections, VICOM supports customers with vehicle evaluation, motor and general insurance, and road tax renewal. Other specialized services feature its Vehicle Inspection and Type Approval System (VITAS), in-vehicle unit (IU) checks, speed limiter verification, chassis dynamometer smoke tests, and educational workshops on vehicle purchasing and upkeep. Moreover, VICOM extends its proficiency in testing, calibration, inspection, consulting, and training to diverse sectors. These encompass the aerospace, marine and offshore, biotechnology, oil and petrochemical, building construction, and electronics manufacturing industries. Founded in Singapore in 1981, VICOM Ltd operates as a subsidiary of ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited.
