Profile

Bouygues S.A., a French-based conglomerate established in Paris in 1952, operates globally across three primary sectors: construction, telecommunications, and media. The company's extensive construction division handles the full lifecycle of projects, from initial design and development through to renovation, operation, and eventual deconstruction. This encompasses a broad range of undertakings, including urban planning, residential and commercial property development, and significant civil engineering works. Bouygues constructs and maintains diverse infrastructure such as roads, motorways, airport runways, ports, industrial and commercial logistics hubs, urban amenities, public transport facilities, leisure sites, and environmental infrastructure. Additionally, it is involved in producing and recycling construction materials, and distributing bitumen. Beyond general construction, Bouygues specializes in building, upgrading, and maintaining railway networks, installing road safety and signaling equipment, and managing the laying and upkeep of pipelines. In its media segment, Bouygues produces and operates a suite of prominent French television channels, including TF1, TMC, TFX, and LCI, alongside thematic channels like TV Breizh, Histoire, Ushuaïa, and Serieclub. This segment also covers content production, broadcasting, and distribution, film production, managing the La Seine Musicale concert venue, and engaging in the licensing, publishing, and development of games, music, and various events. Its telecommunications division provides comprehensive services, offering both mobile and fixed internet solutions, and supplies its proprietary Bbox Miami Android box for television viewing.
