Transportadora de Gas del Sur S.A. (TGS), founded in 1992 and headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina, specializes in the transmission of natural gas and the global production and marketing of natural gas liquids. The company's operations are divided into four main segments. Its Natural Gas Transportation Services division is dedicated to moving natural gas through a pipeline system to distribution companies, power plants, and industrial clients, concurrently providing maintenance and operational support for these facilities. The Liquids Production and Commercialization segment focuses on extracting and selling natural gas liquids, including ethane, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), natural gasoline, propane, and butane, offering supplementary services for their intake, storage, and distribution. The Midstream segment provides comprehensive natural gas management services such as conditioning, purification (removing impurities), compression, collection, and transportation. This segment also performs pipeline and compressor plant inspections and maintenance, generates steam for electricity production, and oversees expansion project management. Lastly, the Telecommunications segment offers data transmission via a digital terrestrial radio relay network. TGS caters to a diverse customer base, spanning residential, commercial, industrial, and electric power generation sectors. The company operates as a subsidiary of Compañía de Inversiones de Energía S.A.
