For professionals, this includes high-performance corded and cordless electric power tools, essential equipment, pneumatic tools, and fasteners. For consumers, often under the BLACK+DECKER brand, the segment provides electric power tools, lawn and garden products, various home items, hand tools, accessories, and storage solutions. These goods are distributed to a diverse clientele, encompassing professional end-users, industrial customers, distributors, dealers, and retail consumers, through a network of retailers, distributors, dealers, and a direct sales force. The Industrial segment specializes in tailored solutions for various sectors. It supplies engineered fastening systems for industries such as automotive, manufacturing, electronics, construction, and aerospace. This division also provides, and rents, customized equipment for pipeline construction, including machinery for pipe handling, joint welding, and coating, alongside comprehensive pipeline inspection services, primarily serving the oil and natural gas industry. Furthermore, it offers hydraulic tools and robust heavy equipment attachments, and supplies automatic doors to commercial clients. The company was previously known as The Stanley Works, changing its name to Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in March 2010.
