Polaris Inc., founded in 1954 as Polaris Industries Inc. and headquartered in Medina, Minnesota, is a global enterprise specializing in the design, engineering, manufacturing, and marketing of powersports vehicles. Its comprehensive operations are structured across three key segments: Off-Road, On-Road, and Marine. The company's diverse product portfolio encompasses a wide array of off-road vehicles (ORVs), including all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and side-by-sides, as well as snowmobiles and conversion kits for snow bikes. For on-road applications, Polaris manufactures motorcycles and a selection of low-emission, light-duty hauling, passenger, and industrial vehicles, along with quadricycles and moto-roadsters. Its marine division offers pontoon and deck boats. Complementing its vehicle offerings, Polaris provides an extensive range of accessories. These include functional enhancements for ORVs such as winches, bumpers, plows, racks, wheels, tires, pull-behinds, cab systems, lighting and audio, cargo box additions, track systems, and specialized oils. Snowmobile riders benefit from accessories like protective covers, traction products, electric starters, reverse kits, tracks, storage bags, windshields, oils, and lubricants. Motorcycle owners can choose from saddlebags, handlebars, backrests, exhaust systems, windshields, custom seats, oils, and various chrome embellishments. Furthermore, the company supplies a full line of riding gear and apparel, comprising helmets, jackets, gloves, pants, hats, goggles, boots, bibs, and leather goods. Polaris distributes its products through a vast global network of authorized dealers and distributors, alongside direct-to-consumer online channels. Aftermarket parts, garments, and accessories are also readily available via over 100 brick-and-mortar retail centers, dedicated call centers, and various e-commerce platforms.
