Ovintiv Inc. is an energy company primarily focused on the exploration, production, and sale of natural gas, crude oil, and natural gas liquids (NGLs). Its activities are managed across three main segments: operations within the United States, operations in Canada, and market optimization efforts. The company holds significant resource plays, notably in the Permian Basin of West Texas, the Anadarko Basin in west-central Oklahoma, and the Montney region spanning northeastern British Columbia and northwestern Alberta.
