The company also oversees asset/liability management strategies, which involve the purchase and sale of investment securities, interest rate risk management, derivatives, and various borrowing activities. Founded in 1964 and headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico, OFG Bancorp serves its customers through a network of 50 branches in Puerto Rico and two branches in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
