Profile

Chart Industries, Inc. designs, manufactures, and sells sophisticated cryogenic equipment for both industrial gas and clean energy markets, serving clients in the United States and globally. The company's operations are divided into four main segments: Cryo Tank Solutions, Heat Transfer Systems, Specialty Products, and Repair, Service & Leasing. The Cryo Tank Solutions division offers extensive cryogenic systems for the storage, distribution, vaporization, and ultimate application of industrial gases. This includes specialized cryogenic trailers, ISO containers, large bulk storage tanks, loading infrastructure, and regasification units crucial for deploying liquefied natural gas (LNG) in virtual pipeline setups. It also provides significant vacuum-insulated storage tanks specifically for standard liquefaction facilities. Within the Heat Transfer Systems segment, Chart Industries delivers solutions for natural gas processing, alongside critical process technology, liquefaction expertise, and essential equipment for the LNG sector, spanning everything from small to mid-scale plants, to floating LNG platforms, and major base-load export terminals. Its product range features various heat exchangers (including brazed aluminum, Core-in-Kettle, and air-cooled types), cold boxes, pressure vessels, and related pipework. Furthermore, it supplies air-cooled heat exchangers and axial cooling fans for applications in HVAC, power generation, and refining. The Specialty Products segment focuses on highly engineered equipment customized for a wide array of niche end-markets such as hydrogen, LNG, biofuels, carbon dioxide capture, food and beverage processing, aerospace, laser technology, cannabis cultivation, and water treatment. This segment also supplies individual cryogenic components like vacuum-insulated piping, specialized liquid nitrogen systems, bespoke end-use equipment, and cryogenic flow measurement devices. Lastly, the Repair, Service & Leasing segment provides comprehensive after-sales support. This includes extended warranties, plant commissioning assistance, spare parts, 24/7 technical support, monitoring and process optimization, repair services, routine maintenance, and system upgrades. The company offers on-site equipment services and maintains service centers worldwide that manage the installation, servicing, repair, upkeep, and refurbishment of its cryogenic offerings. Equipment leasing options are also available to customers. Chart Industries, Inc. was founded in 1859 and has its corporate headquarters in Ball Ground, Georgia.
