It further extends its services to pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare providers, specifically supporting specialized pharmaceutical products. This segment also manages nuclear pharmacies and facilities for radiopharmaceutical production, in addition to repackaging generic and OTC health products. Moreover, it delivers medication therapy management and patient outcomes improvement services to hospitals, various healthcare practitioners, and insurers, alongside providing comprehensive pharmacy management for hospitals. The Medical division concentrates on the manufacturing, procurement, and distribution of Cardinal Health's proprietary range of medical, surgical, and laboratory equipment and supplies. This extensive product portfolio features items such as examination and surgical gloves; needles, syringes, and sharps disposal units; compression wear; incontinence supplies; nutritional delivery systems; wound care products; single-use surgical drapes, gowns, and apparel; fluid suction and collection apparatus; urological supplies; operating room essentials; and electrode product lines. Furthermore, this segment distributes a wide array of nationally recognized medical, surgical, and laboratory products. It also offers critical supply chain services and solutions to hospitals, outpatient surgical centers, clinical laboratories, and other healthcare providers, while also producing and selling pre-assembled sterile and non-sterile procedure kits. Established in 1979, Cardinal Health maintains its corporate headquarters in Dublin, Ohio.
