Its operations are structured into two primary divisions: Commercial Banking and Global Wholesale Banking. Within its Commercial Banking division, the company facilitates a variety of core banking functions, including managing deposits and other funding instruments. It issues debit and credit cards, offers digital prepaid solutions, provides payment platforms, loyalty programs, and employee benefit vouchers. Lending products span payroll loans, digital and online debt restructuring services, mortgages, home equity financing, and consumer credit. For businesses, it extends local loans, commercial and trade finance, guarantees, bespoke structured loans, cash management, and various funding and on-lending solutions. The Global Wholesale Banking segment focuses on sophisticated financial advisory and capital markets activities. This includes guidance on project financing, the origination and distribution of fixed-income securities in debt capital markets, financing for acquisitions, syndicated loans, and other complex structured financial arrangements, alongside subordinated debt and energy efficiency transactions. It also provides advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets transactions, and offers stock brokerage, equity, and equity research services. Furthermore, the company designs and distributes foreign exchange, derivative, and investment products for institutional, corporate, and retail clients, and engages in market-making activities. Beyond these core offerings, Santander Brasil provides instant payment services, specialized products and services for the agribusiness sector, and microfinance solutions. It also features online automotive listing and digital car insurance, as well as a digital trading platform. The institution serves its customers through a robust, multi-channel distribution network, which includes physical branches, mini-branches, automated teller machines (ATMs), call centers, internet banking, and mobile banking applications.
