Its Defense, Space & Security segment is dedicated to the research, development, production, and modification of both manned and unmanned military aircraft and advanced weapons systems. This division also encompasses strategic defense and intelligence systems, including missile defense, sophisticated command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities, cybersecurity solutions, and diverse intelligence platforms. Furthermore, it develops satellite systems for governmental and commercial applications, alongside technologies for space exploration. The Global Services segment offers an extensive portfolio of products and support solutions to commercial and defense clients, covering supply chain and logistics management, engineering expertise, maintenance and modifications, upgrades and conversions, spare parts, specialized pilot and maintenance training programs, technical documentation, and advanced data analytics and digital services. Lastly, the Boeing Capital segment provides crucial financing services and manages the company's financial exposure tied to a range of equipment, including operating leases, sales-type/finance leases, various notes and receivables, assets held for sale or re-lease, and other investments. Founded in 1916, The Boeing Company is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
