Beyond its linear television presence, it provides various streaming and cable subscription services, prominently featuring Paramount+, its flagship digital subscription service for on-demand video and live streaming. The company continuously creates and procures programming for extensive distribution across numerous platforms, such as subscription cable networks, streaming services, and both premium and basic cable channels. Furthermore, Paramount Global holds a significant role in the film industry, involved in the development, production, financing, acquisition, and distribution of motion pictures. Incorporated in 1986 and headquartered in New York, New York, the organization was previously known as ViacomCBS Inc. before its rebranding to Paramount Global in February 2022.
