These solutions facilitate the packaging and transmission of diverse streaming content, such as live streams, video-on-demand (VOD), catch-up TV, start-over TV, and both network and cloud-based DVR services. These are delivered via HTTP streaming to a multitude of devices, complemented by dynamic and personalized advertising insertion capabilities. The Cable Access segment primarily caters to cable operators, providing them with CableOS, its software-driven cable access solutions, as well as CableOS central cloud services. Collectively, Harmonic's product suite empowers clients to craft, ready, store, broadcast, and distribute a wide spectrum of broadcast and streaming video offerings. These services are delivered to various consumer electronics, including smart televisions, desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Beyond its core products, the company extends comprehensive technical support and an array of professional services. These include ongoing maintenance and support, expert consulting, solution implementation, program management, detailed technical design and planning, site preparation, system integration and equipment setup, thorough end-to-end system testing, and user training. Harmonic distributes its offerings through its dedicated direct sales team, alongside a network of independent resellers and systems integrators. Established in 1988, Harmonic Inc. maintains its corporate headquarters in San Jose, California.
