Profile
Huntington Bancshares Inc. functions as the parent entity for The Huntington National Bank, delivering a comprehensive suite of banking solutions catering to commercial clients, small enterprises, individual consumers, and mortgage borrowers. Its operations are strategically divided into four primary divisions: Consumer and Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Vehicle Finance, and the Regional Banking and The Huntington Private Client Group (RBHPCG). Within the Consumer and Business Banking division, customers have access to a broad array of financial offerings. Furthermore, this segment extends investment opportunities, insurance coverage, interest rate hedging, foreign currency exchange, and treasury management support. Modern banking conveniences like online, mobile, and telephonic services are also provided. The Commercial Banking sector delivers sophisticated banking and asset finance solutions. It encompasses corporate risk management, institutional sales, trading, and underwriting, along with comprehensive institutional corporate banking services and treasury management. This segment also supplies diverse financing options and provides capital to real estate developers, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and a range of other corporate clients. The Vehicle Finance unit specializes in extending credit to individuals for acquiring automobiles, light-duty trucks, recreational vehicles, and boats through both franchised and specific non-franchised dealerships. Additionally, it offers inventory financing to franchised dealerships for their stock of new and pre-owned vehicles. The Regional Banking and The Huntington Private Client Group (RBHPCG) provides a suite of services including deposit products, lending, general banking operations, wealth and investment management, portfolio administration, fiduciary oversight, trust services, retirement plan solutions, and custody for institutional and mutual fund assets. As of January 23, 2020, the institution maintained an extensive physical presence across seven Midwestern states, comprising 868 full-service branches – 12 of which were dedicated private client group offices – complemented by 1,448 automated teller machines (ATMs).
