The company provides a wide array of products, encompassing interest rates, equity indexes, foreign exchange, agricultural commodities, energy, metals, and fixed income instruments. Beyond its trading platforms, CME Group delivers essential clearing house functions, which include the clearing, settlement, and guarantee of futures, options, and cleared swaps traded on its exchanges, alongside offering trade processing and risk management solutions. Furthermore, it supplies extensive market data services, covering both real-time and historical information. Its diverse clientele consists of professional traders, financial institutions, individual and institutional investors, corporations, manufacturers, producers, governments, and central banks. The organization changed its name to CME Group Inc. in July 2007, having previously been known as Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc.
