Banco Santander México, a prominent financial institution established in Mexico City in 1932, delivers a wide array of banking and financial services throughout Mexico. The company serves a diverse client base, from individual consumers and private banking clients to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), mid-market corporations, governmental organizations, and large institutional customers, primarily through its Retail Banking and Corporate and Investment Banking divisions. Lending solutions span payroll, personal, and mortgage loans, as well as credit cards, further enhanced by insurance brokerage services. For its corporate and institutional clients, the bank offers sophisticated services like cash management, working capital optimization, trade finance, structured credit and debt products, project and asset-based finance, and strategic advisory for mergers and acquisitions, in addition to investment and hedging tools. Digital access is provided through its robust internet and mobile banking platforms. As of December 31, 2021, the institution boasted a substantial physical network, including 1,346 branches, 9,498 ATMs, and a contact center staffed with 2,540 positions. The company, which updated its name to Banco Santander México, S.A., Institución de Banca Múltiple, Grupo Financiero Santander México in September 2012 from its previous name, Banco Santander (México), S.A., operates as a subsidiary of Grupo Financiero Santander México, S.A. de C.V.
