Paragon Banking Group PLC is a leading provider of diverse financial solutions across the United Kingdom. The company's operations are structured into three distinct divisions: Mortgage Lending, Commercial Lending, and Idem Capital. The Mortgage Lending division specializes in property-backed finance, encompassing both buy-to-let mortgages for investors and owner-occupied residential loans, including first and second charges, along with related services. Meanwhile, Commercial Lending caters to businesses with a diverse suite of financial products, such as funding for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), development finance for property projects, structured lending solutions, and vehicle financing. The Idem Capital segment's activities involve the acquisition and management of various credit assets, including equipment leases, motor finance agreements, residential mortgages, and unsecured personal loans. Furthermore, Idem Capital extends its expertise to managing loan portfolios on behalf of institutional clients like banks, private equity firms, and specialist lenders. Beyond its lending operations, Paragon Banking Group also offers a comprehensive range of savings accounts to household customers. Established in 1985, the company is headquartered in Solihull, United Kingdom. It adopted its current name, Paragon Banking Group PLC, in September 2017, having previously been known as The Paragon Group of Companies PLC.
