LGIM focuses on asset management, providing clients with a variety of investment vehicles, including index funds, active fixed income and liquidity funds, active equity management, solution-driven and liability-driven investment strategies, multi-asset funds, and direct investment in real assets, alongside corporate pension scheme solutions. LGC is responsible for formulating and executing investment strategy, as well as providing direct investment and structuring services. Meanwhile, the LGI division offers diverse protection products, encompassing health, disability, critical illness, and accident coverage. It also provides individual term assurance, reinsurance services, savings and death benefit plans, and annuities. Beyond these core segments, Legal & General's extensive activities further encompass various forms of fund management, including unit trusts, institutional, and alternative investment vehicles. It also engages in mortgage finance, treasury operations, commercial lending, and venture capital investing. The company has significant involvement in real estate, spanning property investment, operation, management, trading, and leasing, as well as building project development (including modular housing) and commercial construction. Furthermore, it provides general insurance, financial intermediation, pension tracing and transfer services, acts as insurance agents and brokers, and offers investment advisory, business information consultancy, and technology services. Established in 1836, Legal & General Group Plc maintains its headquarters in London, United Kingdom.
