Its operations are structured across three primary divisions: Gas & Low Carbon Energy, Oil Production & Operations, and Customers & Products. The Gas & Low Carbon Energy segment is responsible for producing natural gas, developing integrated gas and power solutions, and trading gas. This division also encompasses onshore and offshore wind power generation, hydrogen development, carbon capture and storage facilities, and the marketing and trading of both renewable and conventional power. The Oil Production & Operations segment focuses on the extraction of crude oil. Through its Customers & Products segment, the company manages retail fuel and convenience store networks, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, the Castrol lubricant brand, aviation services, business-to-business solutions, midstream operations, oil refining and trading, and bioenergy projects. Furthermore, BP engages in power storage, digital transformation, carbon management, the development of bio and low-carbon products, and the trading of energy and environmental commodities, as well as providing various mobility services.
