Nichicon's offerings extend to advanced energy and power management solutions, including household energy storage systems, vehicle-to-home systems, quick chargers for electric vehicles (EV/PHVs), power storage solutions for public and industrial use, small Li-Ion rechargeable batteries, switching power supplies, power sources for medical and academic accelerators, and devices for compensating voltage sag and power outages. These products are integral to numerous industries, encompassing energy, environmental technology, medical equipment, automotive and railway applications, domestic appliances, industrial inverters, and information and communication technologies. The company officially became Nichicon Corporation in October 1987, having previously been known as Nichicon Capacitor Ltd.
