Rechargeable offerings feature prismatic, laminate, and coin-type lithium-ion batteries, alongside button-type rechargeable and innovative sulfide-based all-solid-state batteries. Complementing these are battery chargers, specialized battery packs, electrodes, oxygen sensors, hydrogen gas generators, and involvement in solar power generation and sales. In the realm of industrial materials, Maxell provides optical components, molding dies, plastic molded parts, precision components, and a variety of adhesive tapes and functional materials. This segment further extends to electroforming, RFID systems, IC cards, and industrial rubber products. The consumer electronics and appliances division encompasses projectors, imaging equipment, personal health and beauty care devices, and other small electronic gadgets. It also supplies audio equipment like headphones and speakers, computer peripherals, various accessories, optical discs, USB and flash memory storage solutions, and traditional cassette tapes. Additionally, this segment covers alkaline dry, manganese dry, and mobile batteries, as well as both battery-operated and other hydraulic tools. The company operated as Maxell Holdings, Ltd. until October 2021, when it officially adopted its current name, Maxell, Ltd.
