The Connected Solutions segment provides advanced technology and services primarily for business clients, including aircraft in-flight entertainment and communication systems, industrial machinery like electronic component mounting and welding equipment, computing devices such as PCs and tablets, projectors, professional audio-visual systems, and bespoke solutions for various industries. Within the Automotive segment, the company specializes in vehicle components and systems, delivering in-car infotainment and audio systems, driver interfaces (head-up displays, switches, mirrors), safety and assistance technologies (camera modules, advanced driver assistance systems), and a range of battery solutions, including cylindrical and prismatic lithium-ion types, along with other essential devices for electric automobiles. Finally, the Industrial Solutions segment supplies a broad spectrum of components and materials for industrial use. This includes electrical components like relays, switches, power supply products, industrial motors and sensors, capacitors, coils, and resistors, alongside electronic circuit board materials, semiconductors, LCD panels, and various compact batteries, such as lithium-ion, dry cell, and micro types. Established in 1918 and formerly known as Panasonic Corporation, the company maintains its corporate headquarters in Kadoma, Japan.
