The company excels in developing diagnostic solutions for diverse medical fields, encompassing biochemical analysis, immunology, serology, dry chemical assays, and automated diagnostic systems. A significant offering is the OC-SENSOR, an automated immunochemical fecal test designed to identify gastrointestinal bleeding linked to conditions such as colorectal cancer, polyps, and diverticulitis. Its comprehensive product portfolio further includes real-time turbidimeters, temperature-controlled equipment, various amplification and fluorescence detection reagents for research applications, and general detection kits. Eiken Chemical also produces a variety of microbiology-related products, alongside additional immunological and serological reagents. Established in Tokyo, Japan, in 1939, the company initially operated as Nihon Eiyokagaku Co., Ltd. until its rebranding to Eiken Chemical Co., Ltd. in 1969.
