Key pharmaceutical offerings include Clenafin, a topical solution for onychomycosis; Artz, an anti-osteoarthritis medication; Seprafilm, an absorbable adhesion barrier used on damaged tissue; Fiblast, a spray designed for treating pressure and other skin ulcers; Regroth, a product aiding periodontal regeneration; and Hernicore, used for lumbar disc herniation. Other notable pharmaceutical products include Adofeed and Loxoprofen Na Tape, both pain- and inflammation-relieving plasters; Ebrantil, addressing dysuria and hypertension; Procylin, an oral prostaglandin I2 analog; Lipidil, an anti-hyperlipidemia agent; Mentax, an anti-trichophyton agent; and Ropion, an injectable pain reliever. Beyond human medicine, Kaken supplies a range of agrochemicals and animal health solutions. These include Polyoxins, a fungicide; Pentoxazone, a herbicide for rice; and Salinomycin, an anti-coccidial feed additive for poultry. The company also maintains an active research and development pipeline. Promising candidates currently under development include BBI-4000, which has completed Phase III trials for primary axillary hyperhidrosis; KMW-1, also in Phase III for the removal of eschar from thermal burns; KAR, aimed at treating hide lice infestation; and KP-607, presently in Phase II for onychomycosis. Interestingly, its operations also extend to real estate, with involvement in the rental management of Bunkyo Green Court, a commercial complex. Its products are marketed under well-known brands such as Mentax Lotrimin Ultra, Mentax Butena, Mentax, Kaifen, Fiblast, and Jublia. Strategic partnerships include license agreements with Corbus Pharmaceuticals Holdings, Inc. and Arbor Pharmaceuticals, LLC.
