Tokuyama Corporation is a Japanese company that manufactures and distributes a diverse array of chemical products. The organization's operations are structured across six distinct divisions: Chemicals, Cement, Electronics Materials, Life Science, Eco Business, and an 'Others' category. Within its Chemicals division, the company produces items such as caustic soda, soda ash, calcium chloride, sodium silicate, vinyl chloride monomer, polyvinyl chloride resin, propylene oxide, chlorinated solvents, and hydrogen. The Cement division supplies cement, pre-mixed concrete, and cement-based stabilizers, while also participating in resource recovery initiatives. For the Electronics Materials sector, Tokuyama delivers polycrystalline silicon, fumed silica, tetrachlorosilane, aluminum nitride, specialized high-purity chemicals for electronics production, photoresist developers, and isopropyl alcohol. Its Life Science segment is responsible for medical diagnostic systems, dental supplies and apparatus, pharmaceutical raw materials and intermediates, plastic lens components for eyewear, and microporous film. The Eco Business unit deals in plastic window frames and ion exchange membranes, and actively engages in the recycling of waste gypsum board. Initially established as Tokuyama Soda Co., Ltd., the organization rebranded as Tokuyama Corporation in April 1994. Founded in 1918, Tokuyama Corporation maintains its primary administrative office in Tokyo, Japan.
