It also markets mouse models, associated products, and research reagents. Established in 1998, the company was initially known as Kumamoto Immunochemical Laboratories Inc. before rebranding as Trans Genic Inc. in April 2000. Its corporate headquarters are located in Fukuoka City, Japan.
