The Cardiovascular Devices Business segment offers integrated medical solutions for the treatment of coronary artery-related diseases, develops, manufactures, and commercializes coronary stents and related delivery systems, along with balloon catheters, passive accessories and active devices, in fulfilling the overall demands of doctors and patients worldwide. The Orthopedics Devices Business segment is involved in the total solutions for the treatment of orthopedic problems, with an extensive range of orthopedics products that include reconstructive joints, spine and trauma products, and other professional implants and instruments. The Cardiac Rhythm Management Business segment develops, manufactures, and markets of products for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of heart rhythm disorders and heart failure, with products covering pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices. The Endovascular and Peripheral Vascular Devices Business segment focuses on providing integrated disease solutions for aortic and peripheral vascular diseases such as thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysm, aortic dissection, atherosclerosis, and lower extremity arteriosclerotic occlusion. The Neurovascular Devices Business segment specializes in providing total solutions for the treatment of neurovascular diseases, including hemorrhagic stroke, cerebral atherosclerotic stenosis, and acute ischemic stroke, continuously focused on research and development, production and commercialization of neurovascular therapeutic and access devices. The Surgical Devices Business segment provides overall solutions for cardiac surgery and emergency life support. The Heart Valve Business segment includes sale, manufacture, research, and development of heart valve devices. The Surgical Robot Devices Business segment designs, develops, and commercializes innovative surgical robots. The company was founded by Zhao Hua Chang in 1998 and is headquartered in Shanghai, China.
