Profile

Headquartered in Wettenberg, Germany, PVA TePla AG is a global enterprise that develops and supplies sophisticated systems for the production and enhancement of high-tech materials. The company operates through two main divisions: Industrial Systems and Semiconductor Systems. The Industrial Systems segment focuses on structural material technologies, serving demanding sectors such as semiconductors, aviation and aerospace, energy technology, and hard metal tools. This division also undertakes vacuum brazing, vacuum heat treatment, and diffusion bonding processes. Its Semiconductor Systems division provides a comprehensive suite of equipment, including crystal growing systems vital for both silicon wafers in microelectronics and silicon carbide wafers in high-performance electronics. Additionally, it offers metrology systems designed for the non-destructive quality control of wafers, semiconductor components, and other advanced industrial materials. This segment also supplies plasma systems, essential for manufacturing micro-electronic mechanical systems (MEMS) and high-brightness light-emitting diodes (LEDs), as well as for fabricating ultrathin wafers.
