Profile

Established in 1976 and headquartered in Garbsen, Germany, LPKF Laser & Electronics SE engineers and delivers cutting-edge laser technology solutions for high-tech sectors worldwide, maintaining a significant presence across Europe, North America, and Asia. The company's business activities are organized into four distinct divisions: The Development segment supplies prototyping instruments, such as circuit board plotters and ProtoLasers, primarily to research and development teams in industrial companies, alongside public organizations, educational institutions, and research facilities. The Electronics division offers advanced production systems for precise cutting applications involving materials like print stencils, rigid and flexible circuit boards, and ultra-thin glass. It also provides solutions for etching plastic circuit carriers and markets components created using its laser systems. The Welding segment specializes in systems designed for the laser beam welding of plastic components. Finally, the Solar division develops and manufactures laser scribers for etching thin-film solar cells, as well as laser systems for the digital printing of functional pastes and inks used in manufacturing processes. LPKF's comprehensive suite of laser systems finds broad application across various industries, including electronics, automotive supply, solar energy, semiconductors, and medical technology, as well as in academic research and university environments.
