HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA, along with its affiliated entities, functions as a global leader in the design, production, and distribution of advanced illumination systems and electronic parts for the automotive sector. The company's operations are divided into three core segments: Automotive, Aftermarket, and Special Applications. The Automotive division provides a wide range of offerings, including headlamps, rear combination lamps, vehicle interior and exterior lighting, and radomes. It further delivers sophisticated electronic solutions for vehicle body functions, power management, lighting control, and steering, as well as driver assistance systems and their components, such as sensors and engine bay actuators. The Aftermarket segment concentrates on manufacturing and supplying automotive components and accessories, primarily in the categories of lighting, electrics, and electronics. This segment also extends workshop solutions, encompassing diagnostics and calibration, in addition to diverse services for both wholesalers and repair facilities. Through its Special Applications segment, HELLA develops, produces, and markets specialized lighting technology and electronic products tailored for unique vehicles like construction and agricultural machinery, buses, caravans, and marine vessels. The company, initially named HELLA KGaA Hueck & Co., rebranded to HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA in October 2017. Founded in 1899, it maintains its headquarters in Lippstadt, Germany, and operates as a subsidiary of Faurecia S.E.
