EnBW manages the operation and decommissioning of nuclear power facilities, handles gas storage, delivers critical system services, and offers waste management and environmental solutions. The company is also heavily invested in the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from initial development and planning to construction and efficient economic operation. Complementing these core activities, EnBW participates in electricity and gas trading, gas midstream operations, and district heating services, alongside the direct distribution of power from renewable energy plants. Serving approximately 5.5 million customers, EnBW delivers energy solutions and services to a broad spectrum of clients, including retail consumers, small commercial businesses, the housing and agricultural sectors, industrial clients, redistributors, municipal utilities, local authorities, and other public entities. The company operates under several well-known brands, such as EnBW, Yello, GVS, Erdgas Südwest, ODR, ZEAG, NaturEnergie, Pražská energetika, Stadtwerke Düsseldorf, VNG, and goldgas.
