Tethys Oil AB (publ) is an energy company primarily engaged in the discovery and extraction of crude oil and natural gas. Its asset portfolio includes a 50% stake in Block 49, which covers approximately 15,439 square kilometers. The company also holds a 30% interest in Blocks 3&4, boasting net working interests of 26,174 thousand barrels of oil (mbo) in proven and probable reserves, along with 15,600 mbo in 2C contingent resources. Additionally, it possesses a 65% share in Block 56, an area of about 5,808 square kilometers located in the southeastern region of the Sultanate of Oman. Furthermore, Tethys Oil fully owns Block 58, spanning approximately 4,557 square kilometers within the Dhofar Governorate in southern Oman.
