Profile
SCOR SE, an international enterprise, delivers both life and non-life reinsurance products across a vast global presence, including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas (North and Latin), and the Asia Pacific region. The company's operations are structured into two principal divisions: SCOR Global Property & Casualty (P&C) and SCOR Global Life. The SCOR Global P&C segment offers a diverse range of reinsurance solutions. This encompasses coverage for property, motor vehicles, casualty treaties, credit and surety, decennial insurance, aviation, marine and energy sectors, engineering projects, agricultural risks, and catastrophic property events. Furthermore, this division provides specialized insurance products addressing areas such as bespoke business solutions, political and credit risks, cyber threats, and environmental impairment liability, alongside engaging in business ventures and strategic partnerships. The SCOR Global Life segment, on the other hand, specializes in life reinsurance offerings. These products provide protection against risks including mortality, morbidity, behavioral conditions, disability, long-term care requirements, critical illnesses, medical expenses, and personal accidents. This division also develops sophisticated financial solutions, which integrate traditional life reinsurance with financial components to bolster clients' liquidity, strengthen their balance sheets, improve solvency, and enhance income. Additionally, it furnishes longevity solutions, designed to shield insurers and pension funds from the financial implications of policyholders or annuitants living longer than actuarially projected, and provides various distribution-related services. Beyond its core reinsurance operations, SCOR SE is also actively involved in the asset management sector. Established in 1970, the company's main corporate office is located in Paris, France.
