In the Healthcare sector, OMRON manufactures and distributes medical devices such as blood pressure monitors, nebulizers, TENS electrotherapy units, digital thermometers, and body composition monitors. Its product portfolio further includes activity trackers and automated external defibrillators (AEDs), among other health-related offerings. OMRON Corporation has partnered with JMDC Inc. to jointly develop customized solutions for preventing health deterioration and assisting with nursing care. These initiatives are designed to support prescription medication treatments and facilitate patient lifestyle changes by accurately predicting the risk of individual health events. Established in 1933, the company was initially known as OMRON Tateisi Electronics Co. before officially rebranding as OMRON Corporation in January 1990. Its corporate headquarters are located in Kyoto, Japan.
