Meituan functions as a leading technology-driven retail enterprise, with operations spanning mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and other international markets. Its extensive business is segmented into two primary areas: Core Local Commerce and New Initiatives. Within its Core Local Commerce division, Meituan is widely recognized for its robust food delivery services. Its "New Initiatives" segment embraces a wide array of ventures, including community group buying (Meituan Select), shared mobility solutions like bike and e-moped sharing, mobile charging services (power banks), and micro-credit facilities. Furthermore, Meituan provides cloud computing services, offers IT and advisory support to merchants, delivers online marketing solutions, and manages an e-commerce service platform.
