The company conducts smelting and refining of aluminum and magnesium, trades in iron ore, coking coal, non-ferrous metals, and steel products, and leases temporary steel construction materials. Marubeni is deeply involved in infrastructure, providing engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and operation and maintenance (O&M) services for railway systems, water facilities, industrial plants, and waste-to-energy power stations. It also manages infrastructure funds and is active in power generation, embracing renewable energy, retail power services, natural gas, hydrogen, ammonia, municipal solid waste, and thermal energy storage. Additionally, Marubeni acquires, operates, leases, sells, and charters aerospace and marine products. It further sells, trades, leases, finances, and services construction and industrial machinery, as well as mobility products.
