Lightstone Value Plus REIT V, Inc., a Maryland corporation founded on January 9, 2007, has opted for and continues to maintain its status as a real estate investment trust (REIT) for federal income tax purposes. The Company's primary objective is to acquire and manage commercial real estate and related assets, employing an opportunistic and value-enhancement strategy. Operating as a single business segment, the Company's holdings as of September 30, 2023, consisted of eight wholly-owned multifamily properties and one real estate-related investment structured as a note receivable.
