IMV Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company founded in 2000 and based in Dartmouth, Canada, is focused on immuno-oncology. The firm develops a range of therapeutic candidates for solid and hematological cancers utilizing its proprietary DPX immune-educating technology platform. Its primary drug candidate, maveropepimut-S, is a DPX-based immunotherapy engineered to specifically target survivin-expressing cells. This compound is currently in Phase II clinical trials for several cancer types, including diffuse large B cell lymphoma, ovarian cancer, bladder cancer, liver cancer, and tumors exhibiting high microsatellite instability. Maveropepimut-S is also being investigated in a Phase I clinical trial for breast cancer.
