The company also handles investment trading, reinsurance, and comprehensive resort management. Its extensive operations also include the management of sports betting (sportsbooks), the ownership and operation of aircraft and sea vessels, software research and development initiatives, and the running of a video lottery facility. Founded in 1980, the company was initially recognized as Resorts World Bhd before adopting its current identity as Genting Malaysia Berhad.
