Based in Melbourne, Australia, and established in 2011, Altair Minerals Limited (which rebranded from Cohiba Minerals Limited in May 2024) is actively involved in the exploration of natural resources. The company seeks deposits of gypsum, lithium, cobalt, and copper across Australia, Canada, and Peru. Altair holds full ownership of several Australian assets, including the 112.66-square-kilometer Pyramid Lake project in Esperance, Western Australia; the Cobalt X project located in Queensland; and the Olympic Domain project, which comprises three prospects within South Australia's Gawler Craton. Furthermore, the company possesses an 80% stake in the Wee MacGregor project, encompassing three granted mining licenses southeast of Mt Isa, Queensland.
