Established in 1993 and headquartered in Mexico City, Mexico, TV Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V. is a global producer of Spanish-language television programming. Through its various subsidiaries, the company operates four prominent television networks across Mexico—Azteca uno, Azteca 7, adn40, and a más+—which broadcast via approximately 329 company-owned and managed stations. Its extensive content portfolio includes scripted series, news broadcasts, sports coverage, reality programs, musical performances, game shows, talk shows, and diverse variety entertainment. Beyond its core television operations, TV Azteca also owns a professional soccer team, manages radio broadcasting outlets, engages in the acquisition and sale of content exhibition rights, and hosts an annual golf tournament. Furthermore, the company's services extend to air transportation (air taxi), advisory and consulting, and the maintenance of fiber optic networks. The entity adopted its current name in July 1996, having previously been known as Controladora Mexicana de Comunicaciones, S.A. de C.V.
